Reviews and Ratings
The hotel was in a different building which made it less comfortable to find our way to the room. However, once inside, the room was beautiful, really comfortable, and perfectly decorated. The location was fantastic for reaching the train terminal and Cologne Cathedral, just a short walk away.
My stay at the hotel was a mix of positives and negatives. The location was convenient, close to main sights, but the room, albeit warm, was small and in a separate building. The service was outstanding, with staff going above and beyond, but the unfriendliness of some employees was a letdown. The dining experience offered good quality food but at a high price. Overall, a decent stay but with room for improvement.
The hotel is centrally located, close to major attractions and a variety of dining options. The rooms are modern in design but lack sufficient cooling. The service is subpar, with communication issues and unaccommodating staff. The dining area is limited in options but convenient for sightseeing breaks.
The hotel is conveniently located near the main train station, the dome, and the old town, making it easy to explore the city. The rooms are lacking in comfort and amenities, with no bathtubs and minimal storage space. The service was rushed but friendly, making an effort to accommodate our needs. The dining options were basic, but the adjacent Italian restaurant offered a decent breakfast. Overall, the central location is a highlight, but the room setup could be more inviting.
My stay at the hotel was a true mixed experience. The room had a wonderful view of the garden, but the 7 steps to climb up felt a bit like staying in a hostel. The service was a rollercoaster, with some staff being extremely helpful and friendly, while others were downright rude. The location near the city center and train station was very convenient, but the dining options left something to be desired. Overall, it was a stay of highs and lows.
The hotel is ideally located near the central station and city center, making it convenient for exploring the city. While the rooms had some nice decorative elements, the design made me hit my head often, and the ventilation was lacking for the price paid. The service was friendly overall, but there were communication issues with the management, especially during busy times like the Christmas market. The dining options were satisfactory within walking distance, and the facilities met basic needs.
I had a lovely stay at the hotel, just a few steps away from the central train station and close to Cologne Cathedral. The rooms were cozy but slightly warm, and the service was exceptional, offering local tips and even helping us with a coffee maker. The dining experience was good but a bit pricey, while the location was perfect for exploring the city.
Upon arrival, my room was finally ready, and the receptionist, although seemed to be handling multiple tasks, was accommodating. The Annex rooms provided a sense of exclusivity, but a minor issue with housekeeping forgetting to clean showed a room unwelcoming after a long day. These mishaps can be expected but were a bit disappointing.
The hotel offers a student dorm room, lacking a walk-in shower and requiring climbing into the bathtub, which may not be wheelchair-friendly as claimed. The room does show high attention to detail but falls short of a wow factor. The service is friendly and helpful, while the location, close to the Main Train Station and Old Town, is perfect for exploring the city. Dining options are pricey, and breakfast may not offer the best value for money.
I had a pleasant stay at the hotel. The rooms were clean and comfortable, and the staff was friendly. The dining options were a bit limited, but the location was great, close to the old City and the train station. The price was fair for what was provided.
My stay at the hotel was overall quite pleasant. The room, although on the smaller side, was comfortable. However, I felt the price was a bit high compared to similar options in Paris. The attached building seemed poorly constructed. The breakfast confusion during check-out was a downside, where we were unexpectedly charged extra despite booking an inclusive breakfast.
